At Mechy, we are keyboard enthusiasts who believe that privacy is paramount. This Privacy Policy details how Mechy handles data on Android devices.
2. Zero Data Collection
We respect your privacy. Mechy does NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any user inputs, keystrokes, keystroke histories, passwords, credit card numbers, email addresses, personal identification details, or usage analytics. What you type on your device remains strictly inside your device’s sandboxed system memory.
3. Required Android Permissions
Mechy requests only two local permissions to operate:
- BIND_INPUT_METHOD (Input Method Service): Used strictly to allow the custom mechanical keyboard view to render and input text locally when selected by the user.
- VIBRATE (Vibration Control): Used strictly to actuate the device’s local haptic motor to deliver physical key-click vibration feedback.
4. Third-Party Services & SDKs
Mechy does not load any third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or analytic providers. The app is completely free of trackers, analytics, and advertisements.
